4th of July - meet at Hembury woods car park (its free) 0930.
A gentle stroll through woodlands on the fringes of Dartmoor with a visit to Hembury Fort. On the way back an oppurtunity to have a dip and cool off in the river dart at a spectacular location.
Bring sturdy footwear, extra layers, suncream, water, snacks and a pack lunch. If you want to dip in the river, bring your stuff with you. Boots recommended.
We can have a picnic by the river, so bring food.
We will Aim to be back at the car for 13:30.
