Sunday 17th August

Meet at 10:00am

Bowlees Visitor Centre Car Park
Post Code DL12 0XE
We’ll be parking and meeting at the Bowlees Visitor Car Park (cash only, £3 recommended donation) at 10am. From there, our waterfall journey begins!

Stop 1 – Our first dip will be at a stunning waterfall I only discovered last week, set beneath a beautiful old packhorse bridge.

Stop 2 – Just a 10-minute wander upstream to our next little cascade — another brand new dipping spot for me.

Stop 3 – Another short walk brings us to the beautiful and well-known Gibson’s Cave, the perfect place to finish our adventure.

Facilities
• Small toilets at the car park
• Full toilets & café at the Visitor Centre
We expect to wrap up by 2pm at the latest.
Terrain is mainly gravel with a a small set of steps to get up nothing too difficult, the walks about 40mins tops 20mins there and 20mins back – that’s at a snails pace btw.
